Staffing Policy Guidance
DCPAS implements hiring authorities authorized under the National Defense Authorization Act and other policy updates that support hiring improvement goals. DCPAS provides advisory and consultation services for Component headquarters human resources on DOD direct hire authorities, Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Acts of 1994 (USERRA), DOD Pathways Programs, and Non-Traditional Personnel Programs as well as analysis of Time-to-Hire metrics.
