Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly

There are Medicare and Medicaid Programs to help communities meet their health care needs. One such program is the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), which provides care and services to people who would otherwise need care in a nursing home. Some of the services covered by PACE include medical care, social services, and long-term care costs for frail people. PACE permits most people who qualify to continue living at home instead of moving to a long-term care facility. There may be a monthly premium for the long-term care benefit. PACE is available only in some states. To find out more about PACE click here .
